Fox AQIS oil water separator treatment systems for your quarantine washbays
Fox AQIS treatment systems made in Australia. Designed to protect your business and the environment.
The Fox AQIS (Australian Quarantine Inspection Services) series of Oil Water Separator Treatment Systems are designed to remove free floating hydrocarbons like oil, diesel and hydraulic fluid as well as suspended solids down to a level of <100 m micron particles from your waste water. Oil water Separators are the minimum pre treatment system required by Council to treat waste water from wash bays etc prior to discharge to trade waste. The Fox AQIS Oil Separator tank, stand and lid are manufactured from 304 Grade Stainless Steel, and covered by a 5 year warranty. The AQIS skids are powder coated metal frames complete with Oil Separator, transfer pumps, high level alarms, and screen filter fitted, all designed for easy plug & play installation. For marine applications such as ports and container washes the Separator can be supplied in 316 Grade Stainless Steel.
Once the wash process has commenced and the underground storage tank fills with dirty wash water the level in the collection tank lifts the float, and actuates the Fox diaphragm pump. The pump will draw the waste water from the underground holding tank and deliver it to the Oil Separator in a non-emulsified state. All floats for the underground tank are supplied with 10 metres of cable. Control of the diaphragm pump is achieved by a Fox Low Voltage Controller operated by the float switches. Waste waster enters the Separator via the inlet and passes through the Vertical Tube Coalescing (VTC) pack. As oils are lighter than water gravity forces them to the top of the separator. The solids in the waste stream will settle out and be captured in the solids hopper underneath. The water then continues under a baffle and through 100 micron bag filters before exiting the Separator and gravity feeding the collection tank on the skid.
Once this collection tank fills it trips a high level float and actuates the high flow discharge pump, this pump transfers the water from the storage tank through the final 100 micron screen filter then to sewer.
Various options are available for the low voltage controllers to fulfil Local Council Trade Waste requirements including high level alarms and hour run meters.
Fox AQIS Oil Water Separator Treatment Systems are available in standard sizes from 1000 to 15,000 l per hour and custom systems can be manufactured to treat up to 250,000 l per hour.
For maximum Oil Separator performance we recommend the use of Quick Break cleaners and degreasers.
